CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The family of Erick George says they want the community to remember far more than the violence that took his life on Charleston’s King Street.
In emotional interviews with News 4’s Emily Deanne, Erick’s mother, Janeth George, and younger brother, Brian George, described a loving son, mentor, and hardworking young man whose future was full of promise.
“He is the one who taught me to be a mom, the one who gave me the privilege of the name mom, my first son,” Janeth said. “Very intelligent, an excellent student in all his schools.”…
