LINCOLNTON, N.C. (WBTV) – An elderly Lincoln County man who was reported missing last week was found dead on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
Around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, officers said they found a deceased person in a wooded area. The man was identified as 70-year-old Tony Maddox, who was reported missing on Wednesday, May 27.
Police have not said what the cause of death was and Maddox’s death was being investigated by the Lincolnton Police Department…
