Gunfire in north Charlotte last night left one person with serious injuries, according to emergency responders. The shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. on the 3500 block of Statesville Avenue, and the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
As reported by WSOC‑TV, MEDIC crews responded to the scene and transported one person with serious injuries to a nearby medical center. Officials released few details in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, and the case remained under investigation.
