High school student is awarded $95,000 over Charlie Kirk message painted on campus spirit rock after his assassination

A HIGH school student has been awarded $95,000 after a tribute to Charlie Kirk was painted over on her school’s spirit rock following his assassination.

The school district has settled a federal lawsuit after a message in support of Charlie Kirk was removed from a spirit rock on the high school campus.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools reached the settlement after a “Live like Kirk” message was removed from Ardrey Kell High School’s spirit rock in Charlotte, North Carolina.
