CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Police arrested a man in connection with the killing of a woman Thursday morning in a northwest Charlotte neighborhood.
The woman was killed after suffering a traumatic injury around 9:30 a.m. on Ciera Nichole Court, a residential street off Valleydale Road.
Officials later identified the victim as 51-year-old Shalonda Hood.
