HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A murder suspect in a nearly 9-year-old North Carolina cold case was arrested Monday in South Carolina, authorities said.
Horry County and Myrtle Beach police worked with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to arrest 39-year-old Nathaniel ‘Nate’ Rorie, one of three men who face murder charges in the Aug. 3, 2017, shooting death of Raymond Johnson on Monroe Road in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Authorities have not said where Rorie was arrested in Horry County or provided any additional details. He remained in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center as of Wednesday morning, awaiting extradition to North Carolina…
