Four barbecue spots in North Carolina earned places on Yelp’s list of the top 100 barbecue joints in the United States. The rankings put restaurants from Concord, Peachland, Knightdale, and Dillsboro among the nation’s best.
The Smoke Pit in Concord ranked highest among the state’s picks at No. 16. Jon G’s Barbecue in Peachland came in at No. 50. Prime Barbecue in Knightdale placed at No. 63, and Haywood Smokehouse in Dillsboro at No. 65.
