‘Kind of toast’: Myers Park flooded, all Charlotte Water customers asked to conserve after main break

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Myers Park road is closed after a water main break has cut off water service to neighbors Friday afternoon.

And now, people throughout Mecklenburg County are being asked to further conserve water as restrictions are already in place due to the drought.

Charlotte Water reported that repairs had begun at 3:30 p.m. July 3. Road closures are in place in the 1000 and 1100 blocks of Queens Road, near the two intersections with Edgehill Road…
