MONROE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man has been identified for allegedly stealing from a Kay Jewelers in Union County, according to the Monroe Police Department.
On June 24, Kay Jewelers on the 3000 block of W. Highway 74 was the victim of a snatch-and-grab. Through surveillance images and public information, investigators identified the suspect as 25-year-old Jawaun Tylik Ray from Greenville, South Carolina.
Ray has warrants issued for common law robbery and is wanted on similar charges out of South Carolina, officials said.
