CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — In a half hour, the Charlotte Fire Department says its crews were called to three fires.
Northwest Charlotte
Around 12:31 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, firefighters were called to a fire at a two-story home in the 1300 block of Sugar Hollow Drive. This is in a neighborhood off Mount Holly-Huntersville Road near North Woods Forest Drive.
Crews arrived to see smoke. In total, 30 firefighters controlled the fire in 50 minutes. No one was hurt, and the fire is under investigation.
Northeast Charlotte
Around 12:42 a.m., crews arrived in the 4900 block of Abendego Road to see fire coming from the attic of a house. This is in a neighborhood near Caldwell Road and Interstate 485.
The fire was controlled in about 30 minutes by 30 firefighters. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
East Charlotte
Lastly, a fire broke out around 12:59 a.m. in the 8000 block of Tremaine Court. This is in a neighborhood off Albemarle Road…
