CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A teenager is dead after a high-speed crash on Interstate 85 Saturday evening, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP).
Just after 7:30 p.m. on July 25, troopers responded to a crash on I-85 south near Sugar Creek, around mile marker 41.
Investigators believe a Mercedes and an Audi were speeding down I-85 when they hit a motorcycle and a Hyundai. The motorcycle rider died after being thrown from the bike.
