Two people have been charged in connection with an Aug. 26 pit bull attack in Charlotte, N.C.

Rychelle Morrow and Rodney Morrow both face seven counts of animal abandonment, cruelty to animals, failure to vaccinate, and failure to display rabies tags, dangerous dog attack exceeding $100 in injuries, and unsafe conveyance, according to a charging affidavit obtained by PEOPLE.

Rychelle, 44, and Rodney, 75, were arrested and booked on Sept. 16, according to inmate records reviewed by PEOPLE. They were both released after posting bond on Sept. 18…
