New details are emerging after the man accused of killing a former Greensboro police officer in Uptown Charlotte was returned to Mecklenburg County.
Tyrell Valentine is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Manuel Martinez outside an Uptown apartment complex earlier this month.
