A 15-year-old was shot during a confrontation with a deputy in the Waterstone development near Lake Norman, according to investigators in North Carolina.
It happened around 9:45 p.m. Thursday and the youth remains hospitalized, the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office said in a Sept. 25 news release.
