GREENSBORO AND ALAMANCE COUNTY — Two North Carolina men with regional ties were charged with multiple felonies by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department related to an attempted first-degree murder plot on Friday.
Clifford Nathaniel Hayden, 22, of Greensboro, was charged with three felonies, including attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and felony conspiracy.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, Hayden conspired with Zaire Clifford Amari Mills, 23, of Alamance County, to commit the alleged crime against the victim with a gun.
