CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A crash on Interstate 85 is causing heavy delays in northeast Charlotte Wednesday morning, according to NCDOT.
NCDOT says the crash happened before 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 30 on I-85 southbound just before Exit 41 for Sugar Creek Road.
Traffic cameras show a crash in the middle lanes of the interstate. The three right lanes of I-85 southbound are closed.
Authorities have not said what led to the crash or if anyone was hurt. As of 8 a.m., the crash has been moved out of the road, but traffic is still backed up to Mallard Creek Church Road…
