CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A new partnership is bringing doctors appointments out into the community and onto the streets for unhoused people in Charlotte.
The program, called Wellness Without Walls, is helping Charlotte’s unhoused population get mental health treatment and medical care without having to travel to an office. The program works with shelter employees and health care professionals.
