Matthews-Mint Hill Daily Briefing: Leaders discuss security

The Matthews Board of Commissioners will continue talking about upgrading town hall with strengthened security features when they reconvene at 7 p.m. April 13.

Town staff brought them a proposal last month calling for an administrative front desk behind glass and some protective paneling for the boardroom’s dais. These features are designed to keep town officials safe during an active shooter situation.
