Charlotte-Mecklenburg police detectives are investigating a homicide at an apartment complex on Wednesday night.
Initially, MEDIC said three people were hurt in the shooting at about 7:30 p.m. in the 7200 block of Forest Pointe Boulevard near Nations Ford Road in southwest Charlotte, MEDIC said.
