Ongoing drought conditions impact water levels at Lake Wylie, prompt usage restrictions

LAKE WYLIE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte Water officials will implement voluntary water restrictions starting Monday.

Residents are asked to limit outdoor watering to no more than two days per week. The move is the latest response to a drought experts say could be the worst to hit the region in more than a decade.
