CATS Blue Line down to a single track amid construction for new South End station. Here’s what you need to know

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The first phase of construction for a new South End Station is now underway.

As a result, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will operate on a single track for the Blue Line. The new station and rail crossing will be between Remount Road and Tremont Avenue near the Publix grocery store.
