LendingTree founder’s house on the market following tragic death

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The home of a Charlotte CEO who died last year is on the market.

Doug Lebda, the founder of online financial platform LendingTree, died in an ATV accident last fall.

One of his friends, Liza Caminiti, is now selling his house in south Charlotte.

“My first time really getting to hang out with [Doug and his wife, Megan], I remember him saying to me, ‘What do you do?’ I said, “Oh, I’m in real estate,’” Caminiti said. “He said, ‘You’re going to be the best real estate agent in Charlotte, and I’m going to do my damndest to make sure you’re the best real estate agent in Charlotte.’ I left there that night going, ‘Wow.’”…
