Keegan McKenney just experienced the highlight of his life, unaware that his time on Earth was about to end.
The 22-year-old died on May 10 following a car crash in North Carolina. He graduated less than 24 hours before the tragedy, Queens University of Charlotte said. The college athlete died in a Mother’s Day crash in Charlotte.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said the deadly crash happened in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 10, on Queens Road West near the corner of East Boulevard.
