In Orange Circuit Court on Tuesday, a Gordonsville man gladly accepted a lesser felony conviction rather than spending five to 20 years in prison.
And if Trenain Jamar Barbour remains crime-free for the next year, that conviction could be wiped from his record under a deferred dispositon by Presiding Judge David B. Franzen.
