ELKTON, Va. (WHSV) – Virginia State Police is investigating a fatal crash involving a bicycle that happened around 2:25 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Virginia Avenue and North Street in the Town of Elkton.
VSP said a truck was traveling southbound on North Street when it was unable to avoid a bicyclist who entered the intersection from Virginia Avenue, which has a stop sign.
The juvenile bicyclist was taken by emergency crews for treatment but later died from their injuries, according to state police…
