State using leftover FY26 fubds for safety repairs and repaving
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has until the end of Fiscal Year 2026 (June 30, 2026) to perform safety improvement work and repaving of a portion of Stanard Street in Stanardsville.
Specifically, the agency will shut down traffic along the street from Celt Road to Ford Avenue on Thursday and Friday to repair sidewalks and curb and guttering that does not meet ADA requirements.
