CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Thieves are smashing windows and stealing from cars parked outside apartment complexes near the University of Virginia.
A number of car break-ins have occurred in parking garages on West Main Street. Renters at the apartments in the area say their cars were broken into and their belongings were stolen.
Many students attending UVA live in the apartments as it’s close to Grounds, and they say the break-ins are an added cost to the list they already have…
