Heavy and much needed rain didn’t hinder a celebration of the 300 th anniversary of The Estate of Meander in Locust Dale on Friday night.
Originally set under a tent at the rear of Madison County’s oldest structure, guests meandered through the rooms of the historic landmark, sampling a variety of foods and drinks.
The weather broke for the better with streaks of sunlight falling over the Blue Ridge in the distance as new owners Eric and Kimberley Watson welcomed all to the outdoor patio for remarks…
