CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Rivanna River Company has paused downriver paddling and tubing trips due to low water levels caused by an extreme drought in the Charlottesville area.
The river level, which typically covers the first level of the company’s dock, now sits below it. With extreme heat on the way, water levels could drop further.
