Charlottesville protestors advocate for U.S. Postal Service federal funding

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Postal workers and supporters gathered at Charlottesville’s downtown post office Tuesday, July 28, hoping to deliver a message to Congress.

Demonstrators advocated for continued federal funding of the U.S. Postal Service and raised awareness about the implications privatization of the mail sector would have for Americans — particularly those in rural areas.
