CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – What started as a plan to pay for a new bike became a full summer side hustle for Jack Barron, a rising sixth grader. He’s spent his mornings running a coffee stand at the corner of Rainier Road and Cherry Avenue.
Every day at 7:30 a.m., Barron has been setting up shop — drawing dog walkers, runners, and neighbors looking for a morning pick-me-up. He offers several refreshments and treats, but one item has stood out among regulars.
“The favorite of the customers has been iced coffee,” Barron said. “And I like the iced tea more because I don’t drink coffee.”…
