Kelsey Smith’s favorite part of working at Chiles Peach Orchard is getting to witness the “little moments of joy.”
“I still remember walking through the peach orchard and hearing a woman who was completely by herself singing ‘Peaches’ by The Presidents of the United States of America at the top of her lungs. She was absolutely living her best moment, and it made me smile,” she said. “I’ve also seen marriage proposals in the orchard and families returning year after year to continue traditions. It reminds me that this isn’t just a place to pick fruit. It’s a place where people make memories. Getting to be a small part of those moments is my favorite part of the job.”
