Authorities: Car crashed into Albemarle home during domestic incident, setting it on fire

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A man is facing multiple felony charges, including arson, after a car crashed into an Ablemarle County home during a domestic incident, causing the house to catch fire.

At 10:40 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, first responders with both the Albemarle County Police and Fire Rescue Departments were called to the 1800 block of Secretarys Road for a report of a domestic incident.

According to a joint press release from both departments, crews arrived at the scene to find a car had crashed into the home, setting it on fire.
