NELSON COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — A Nelson County resident was found dead during a welfare check, according to officials.
The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office said its deputies were dispatched to a home on Tye River Road on Wednesday for a welfare check.
“Upon arrival at this address, Deputies made entry into the residence due to mitigating circumstances,” NCSO said. “Deputies located an individual inside the residence that was not demonstrating signs of life, and was pronounced deceased.”…
