Residents of Walker County will have another opportunity this week to help shape the future of their community as county leaders continue work on updating the Walker County Comprehensive Plan.
The second stakeholder meeting for the comprehensive plan update is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Walker County Civic Center, located at 10052 North Highway 27 in Rock Spring.
County officials are encouraging residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to attend and provide input on the county’s future growth, development, infrastructure, housing, transportation, and quality of life priorities.
