CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A new report says demand for electric vehicles (EVs) has dropped in Tennessee, but even as the sales numbers for a Volkswagen model made in Chattanooga dropped, another VW model saw an increase in sales.
Volkswagen announced it would stop producing it’s ID 4 models at their plant in Chattanooga earlier this year.
The company said sales for that model were down year over year by over 6 percent.
However, sales for their other EV model, the ID Buzz, have increased by over 120 percent…
