The Walker County Board of Education has announced several upcoming meetings in June, including budget work sessions, public hearings, and its monthly planning and regular board meetings.
The first meeting will be a FY2027 Budget Work Session on Tuesday, June 2, at 5 p.m. at the Advancing Education Center, located at 925 Osburn Road in Chickamauga. Board members will discuss the proposed fiscal year 2027 budget during the session.
The Board will then hold a FY2027 Budget Hearing on Tuesday, June 9, at 5 p.m., also at the Advancing Education Center. The hearing will provide an opportunity for public review and input on the proposed budget before its adoption…
