LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The Fayette County Board of Education is set to vote on a contract with an Atlanta-based company during an auditor meeting on Monday, July 6.
The board will vote on whether or not the district will contract Mauldin & Jenkins Certified Public Accountants to complete an audit for the 2025-26 and 2024-25 fiscal years.
If the motion to bring in Mauldin & Jenkins is approved, then the audits would come from the company’s office in Chattanooga, Tennessee…
