OOLTEWAH, Tenn. — Drivers who use the busy intersection of Snow Hill Road and Short Tail Springs Road in Ooltewah could soon see long-awaited safety improvements after Hamilton County commissioners approved a nearly $1.9 million bid for upgrades Wednesday.
The project proposal was created by Mayor Weston Wamp and District 9 Hamilton County Commissioner Steve Highlander.
Planned work would widen portions of the intersection near The Retreats at Snow Hill and Harper Trace subdivisions.
