Former WGOW Outdoor Radio Host and Tennessee Wildlife Commissioner Tony Sanders was honored Friday for his lifelong commitment to Tennessee sportsmen and wildlife conservation.
The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission presented Sanders with a formal resolution to honor his, “Outstanding Service to Tennessee Outdoor Heritage.”
Chattanooga area wildlife commissioner Chris Devaney presented the lengthy resolution which read, in part, “The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission recognizes individuals whose exceptional dedication and service have advanced the conservation, management, and appreciation of Tennessee’s fish and wildlife resources. For more than 35 years, Tony Sanders has devoted himself to promoting hunting, fishing, conservation, outdoor education, firearm safety, and leaving an enduring legacy that has benefited countless Tennesseans and strengthened the traditions that define the Volunteer State.”…
