CHATTANOOGA — The Walnut Street Bridge is scheduled to reopen Saturday, Oct. 3, with a public ceremony and celebratory walk across the bridge.
Parking on Walnut Street will be blocked beginning at 6 a.m., while both bridge entrances will open at 8:30 a.m. for city officials and contractors to prepare for the event.
