Colonel Matt Perry has officially announced the promotion of Cecil Harvey to the rank of Captain over the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) Chattanooga District. Captain Harvey, who previously served as a Lieutenant within the district, succeeds Patrick Turner in the leadership role.
The promotion, confirmed in late February, places Harvey at the helm of District Two, a critical region headquartered at 4120 Cummings Highway. The district’s jurisdiction is vast, covering 13 counties: Bledsoe, Bradley, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Polk, Rhea, Sequatchie and Van Buren.
“I am proud to announce the promotion of Cecil Harvey to Captain over the THP Chattanooga District,” said Colonel Perry in a statement. “Congratulations.”…
