Boy found in ditch after crashing his bike on Signal Mountain; Police seek information

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn. — Authorities on Signal Mountain are asking for help investigating what caused a boy to crash his bike in a ditch near an elementary school early Friday evening.

According to a Facebook post from the Signal Mountain Police, officers went to Sam Powel Drive near Nolan Elementary School after reports of a hurt biker just after 4:30 p.m.

Officers say they found a juvenile boy that had crashed his bike there. Signal Mountain Fire Department was already taking care of the boy, who had been found in the ditch on the south side of the road…
