Masked gunman forces clerk to ground, steals cash from Cleveland store

CLEVELAND, Tenn. — A masked man pulled a gun on a store clerk and forced him to the ground during a late-night robbery in Cleveland.

Police say it happened just before 10 p.m. Saturday at the ABC Convenience Store on South Lee Highway.

According to investigators, the suspect walked into the store with a handgun visible in his pocket. When the clerk asked him to remove his face covering, police say the man became agitated, pulled out the gun and pointed it at him…
