CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Over 3,330 athletes from 64 countries all across the globe descended on the Scenic City Sunday to push their physical and mental endurance to the limit.
The IRONMAN 70.3 race began with a 1.4-mile downriver swim in the Tennessee River. Athletes then quickly transitioned from swim mode to bike mode, pushing their pedals for a 56-mile bike course through northern Georgia and the historic Chickamauga region.
