CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Federal agent activity in Cleveland that raised concerns for some residents resulted in the arrest of eight people living in the country illegally, according to a new statement from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

In a statement to our newsroom Friday, ICE says this was “targeted enforcement action” in the Green Drive area involving a suspect who was in the country illegally.
