NEWPORT NEWS, VA. (WAVY) – A parent in Newport News is urging other parents to check in on their children after what she described as a chaotic teen takeover that took place at City Center on June 6.
According to the parent, who wished to remain anonymous, hundreds of teenagers were seen gathering at City Center Saturday night.
“I was dropping my daughter off so she could go to the movies with her friends,” said the parent, “it was massive. Kids, hundreds and hundreds of them.”
