Chesapeake Planning Commission recommends proposed battery energy storage system be denied when it goes before City Council next month

CHESAPEAKE, Va, (WAVY) – The Chesapeake Planning Commission voted 7-1 to recommend the application for a battery energy storage system, or BESS, be denied when it goes to City Council next month.
