Rabid fox found in Suffolk neighborhood: VDH

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY)– Officials with the Virginia Department of Health say a fox tested positive for rabies in Suffolk.

That fox was captured in the 200 block of Beechwood Drive by Suffolk Animal Control. Due to the fox’s symptoms and health condition, it was humanely euthanized and tested for rabies.
