CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A driver was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in the intersection of Kempsville Road and Butts Station Road in Chesapeake Saturday morning, according to the Chesapeake Police Department.
On June 20 at around 7:18 a.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle crash in the intersection of Butts Station Road and Kempsville Road. The preliminary investigation suggested that a Chevy Malibu and a Ford Explorer collided, causing the Malibu to flip onto its side.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged due to the crash. One driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The road was temporarily closed so crews could secure the scene and remove debris. The intersection has since reopened to traffic…
